Hello! I am a Master's level teacher whose private school closed in 2020. I was a classroom teacher for grades 4-8. I provide tutoring, homework assistance, and home school support for all ages and subjects. families. Additionally, I have 2 sons on the autism spectrum. Our school district just wanted to put them in Life Skills classes and not focus on academics. I had them placed in inclusive settings, with much resistance form our district who told us that they couldn't learn to read or write. I retaught them everything when they got home from school. I did this through high school, worked as a 1:1 for my younger son through eighth grade with additional tutoring after school, and then home schooled him in high school. Both were able to complete math through Algebra 2 and Geometry and ended up with academic awards. My younger son did not take regents, but my older son got high 80's and low 90's on all but 1 regents.
