About Shannan

Shannan is absolutely amazing, and we could not have been any happier with her while she worked for us. If you're considering hiring her, do it! She nannied for us for almost a year beginning when my daughter was about a year old and would loved if she stayed with us for longer. We parted ways because we needed more care hours than Shannan could provide. I am very particular about who I trust my daughter with because she has eczema and allergies and required extra care than usual. Shannan was open to learning what we needed her to do in terms of caring for my daughter's skin, and she was incredibly considerate and thoughtful, being extra cautious where necessary without even being told to do so. I rarely ever had to "remind" Shannan to do things that were asked of her. Shannan is communicative, trustworthy, easy going, very friendly, and also respectful. I am the type of person who hates to ask people to do things for me, and I found Shannan telling me almost daily to go take a break, so she could take care of meals, cleanup, and my daughter, while I had a moment to myself. I am a SAHM mom, so I was home most of the time with Shannan there which gave me great insight into her as a nanny. She is proactive and energetic. She is great with kids, enthusiastic, hard working, very fast and efficient when needed and did not sit around idly and was NEVER on her phone. All her focus went to my daughter, and she also loved taking her on outings. Shannan is also a rockstar at meal time and takes it very seriously which was great. She had no issue giving supplements in foods where needed. I could go on, but in all honesty, you just have to see for yourself! Don't hesitate to hire her, we would have her back in a heartbeat if our schedules and goals aligned!
