About Nancy

I am a mother of 4 grown children ages 27-34. Along with raising our children, I have a degree in Elementary Education/Special Education and 35 years of teaching experience. I have taught in Family Literacy Programs; working with parents and their preschool/elementary age children. I taught parenting classes and ran parent and child activities to promote the importance of reading and being involved in your child's education. For the last 8 years, I have been providing child care for families with children ages ranging from infancy to 8 years old. While caring for children, I enjoy reading and singing with them, working on developmental skills, playing, doing arts and craft projects, getting outside to play, going for walks and going to parks and libraries.
