Warm, Reliable, Responsible Kids are honest, funny and endlessly curious. I care about kids feeling safe and understood. My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 4, and I managed her care, which taught me how much it matters to a child to have a calm, steady adult nearby. Looking for after-school and part-time care-- school pickups and rides to activities (I have my own car), help with homework, snacks... also available for date nights... I started babysitting as a teenager. From there I went on to raise a daughter of my own, who was very involved in musical theater and is now grown and doing great. So, I have years of hands-on experience. I run an indie record label. which means my schedule is flexible. (I'm a Canadian-American.) Top 3 Childcare Skills: 1.
