A. in English (Smith and Dartmouth College), and MA in Education (Boston College and Harvard Graduate School of Education) and have completed all coursework to be certified as an elementary school teacher. I love literacy and learning and art making and music. I speak Spanish at an intermediate level and have basic French language skills. I have served as a writing and homework tutor, have worked with racially diverse families, and am CPR, Pediatric First Aid certified, am a former lifeguard, swim instructor, volunteer art teacher, and holder of a Teaching English as a Second Language credential from the University of Toronto.

Nan is a very dedicated, creative and passionate caregiver. Our children adore her. She always shows up with a plan for the day with books, projects and meets the kids where they are. She plays and engages them in sports, music, art, nature, reading, etc.
