Recently retired, I am fortunate to be seeking a role out of the workplace where I can feel fulfilled in this rewarding stage of my life and that role is caring for children. In the past, I was the Director of the Cascade Christian Child Care Board for six years. I have been involved with the youth programs and Infant/Toddler Program. I also was a nanny for a Forest Hills family for 15 years. I love art, music, reading, spending time outdoors and being with the 3 loves of my life, my grandchildren, ages 7, 3, and 18 mos. I m seeking a childcare position where I can provide my flexible schedule to a family seeking an active grandma to care for their little ones. I am looking for part time or full time for the right family.

Nan has been a part of family and our children's lives since they were born.... 15 years. She was an integral part of our boy's childhood and their development and I am grateful for her advice, knowledge and expertise. Nan is incredibly nurturing and she is thoughtful. The boy's loved having her with them and she always did fun, creative activities with them. As a parent, she was (and still is), someone I sought out for advice or feedback about raising children. She is respectful and always cleared new activities or ideas with me and if there were any issues with the boys that needed to be addressed, she handled them in a very appropriate and loving manner. At every stage of our boy's lives, from infancy to toddler world to preteen, she was exceptional in caring for them. When I first met Nan, I instantly gravitated to her and she became much more to our family than a "babysitter" and that just doesn't happen very often. I would highly recommend Nan.
