About Nakia

Hi My name is Nakia and I love caring for children. Growing up as the eldest daughter in a family of seven children, I learned patience, and household management early on. Whether you have a newborn needing gentle care or energetic school-age kids needing homework help, I bring years of hands-on, real-world experience to your family. My Experience: Infant & Toddler Care: I regularly volunteer at my church organization, assisting mothers with infants and toddlers. I am the "go-to" person for soothing babies to sleep, bottle feeding, and diaper changes so parents can get a well-deserved break. School-Age Care: Throughout college, I babysat for two school-age children, managing after-school routines, activities, creative play and helping prepare meals. Multi-Child Supervision: Helping raise my 6 younger siblings taught me how to safely supervise multiple age groups at once while giving each child individual love and attention.
