About Naiya

Hello Families! My name is Naiya, and I am going into my second year of college at Southern State University majoring as a Child Life Specialist. I spent the past 8 months working at the School for Young Children, as a Teaching Assistant for Preschool students. I assisted with teachers in small groups, reading to students, assisting and eating lunch with students, as well as playing with them outside and during play time. I also work at a camp every year, and have gotten numerous Counselor of the Week awards. This awesome job has given me so many opportunities and relationships with families around . Working with children and being apart of promoting their development, is a passion I will always have and continue to pursue.
