About Naivy

We hired Naivy to work as a nanny in our home almost five years ago. At that time she was hired to care for our 1.5 year old daughter, including preparing her meals and doing her laundry. It took no time to realize that being a nanny is not just a job to Naivy, it is a passion. And it was also clear that she would not just be a nanny to us, but a member of the family. Two years later we welcomed our son, and Naivy was key in the transition for us as parents getting into the routine of two children, as well as for our daughter to becoming a sibling. She took on the task of two children with ease. Her duties then also included picking up our daughter from half days at daycare, which we started for socialization reasons. The day for the children has always been full of non-stop activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth at each stage of life. She keeps the children constantly occupied, stimulated, and most importantly, safe. Activities include walks, biking, water play, puzzles, yoga, sidewalk chalk, races, and crafts. She also comes up with activities and games to promote development, learning, and coordination. She has also been a big part of our children learning to swim and having confidence in and around water. She also enjoys taking them to the park, beach, and museums. Naivy has always been very flexible with scheduling as well. If we needed to change any day or got stuck late at work, she always did her best to be able to accommodate. From the beginning, she communicated throughout the day with updates and pictures of the children and their activities. She also logged any needed information by date and time, and there was always open and honest communication with any concerns or injuries that arose. She has been part of every milestone for our children, including potty training, birthday parties, ballet recitals, and soccer practices. The kids talk about her as they would a treasured family member, and that’s precisely what she is. When your children scream in excitement and jump in her arms when she arrives, you know how safe and loved they are. We are so sad to be losing Naivy, as she truly is irreplaceable. And to anyone reading this letter, I would encourage you to be quick to give her a position, as her warmth, attentive care, and personality is one of a kind.
