About Nadia

I'd describe my personality as gentle, understanding, and creative. I like working with kids because they live in such an experience and imagination driven world -- It's such a gift to be able to revisit this mindset while also passing along structure and wisdom! I'm looking for a job that I can do when I am not at school -- I am a student at BU. Ideally I would like to work with one family for a prolonged amount of time and get to know the kids and have them trust me; however, I am also open to drop in help! I started working with kids when I was 10 as a 'mothers helper' for a family friend of mine. I have three siblings and have always helped out in that regard as well. More seriously, I began working with kids in high school, babysitting on weekends and school nights. In the summer of my Junior year in high school I au paired for a family in Copenhagen as well. In my spare time, I like to oil paint, do film photography, hot yoga, spend time in nature, read, cook.
