My name is Myrna, but I prefer to go by middle name Lynnette. Im 38y/o and originally from Honduras and have been living here for 5yrs. I consider my self an easy going compassionate person, honest, responsible, try to see and understand things from others point of view, also very reasonable and know that I don't know it all and wont always be right. Im definitely a peoples person outgoing spontaneous and fun, love cooking and entertaining, don't hide emotions and strait forward outspoken and a strong leadership personality. Im a hands on easy learner and like to ask questions to make sure I do things right and meet the expectations, Im always willing to help with any task. I really don't believe in tapping myself on the shoulders, just give me a try and see what im capable of and you be the judge. I care for seniors because I like to feel helpful, resourceful and appreciated, also I love to hear all their wonderful life experiences. I think they help to grow and mature as a person!

My many interactions over several years of Myrna helping my Dad and Stepmom proved that she is superb. Beyond complete competence in PCA roles, she is affable, smart, and genuinely caring, which sets her apart from most. But what lifts her to the top 1% is what I would call “graceful competence” (precise but less common words are “aplomb” and Italian “Sprezzatura”). By this I mean she’s fully present and attentive, yet does not disrupt family relations by any form of egotism. If you think of it, PCAs, especially live-in ones, are presented with the extraordinarily difficult and pressured micro-politics of the family drama. This situation requires high emotional intelligence (EQ). One who is too diminutive may not interfere but also may not take crucial initiative. Myrna achieves that rare balance where strength of mind, morals, and body does not disempower those she helps. You will be lucky if you manage to secure her help. I would say she deserves to be placed with families that will pay more to get Myrna’s high excellence.
