About Mya

Hello! My name is Mya, I am a student at The University of Kansas, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. I have four years of experience working with children. My experience includes summer camps, before and after school care programs, nannying, and babysitting with ages ranging from infants to sixth grade. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Heart Association. I also have completed coursework through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment- Child Care, where I have learned how to properly create STEM activities, crafts, and games. I also learned how to keep the children I work with safe, healthy, and happy. I have my own transportation, I do not smoke, I am very comfortable with pets, and I have a flexible schedule. I love working with children because I enjoy the energy, smiles, laughs and everything in between that comes along with children!
