About Mya

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my tutoring practice. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to real-world examples and personal interests. I believe open communication with parents and students is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where your child can thrive. I look forward to partnering with you to help your student discover the joy of academic success.
