About Mya

I'd describe my personality as helpful, positive, reliable, and friendly. I like working with kids because they are so fun and interesting! I am in college to become an elementary school teacher and I enjoy teaching them and being in their company. I'm looking for a job that will be respectful of me and kind. Also good communication with parents and developing good relationships with the families I work with is my goal. I started working with kids when I was in middle school, taking care of my younger brothers. Following this I babysat for a family friends child who is on the spectrum. In my spare time, I like to paint, go on walks, and spend time with friends/family. I also enjoy nature and learning new things! One thing you should know about me is I care a lot about others and I love taking care of people. I will always go above and beyond what is needed. My skills include cleaning, keeping the kids entertained, helping with homework, and I'm also CPR certified.
