About Mya

Hi my name is Mya and I have over 5 years of professional caregiving and household management experience. I became a caregiver because I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and I'm committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where they can do just that. I'm a patient, kind, proactive, and creative individual. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, and recently completing my Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences, I've taken coursework in child development/psychology. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor activities, crafts, games, and educational activities. I love to learn about each child's unique interests and curate activities to foster their creativity. I also provide homework help, rides to school/activities etc. Additionally household tasks such as light housekeeping, errands, pet care, and meal prep.
