About Mya

Hello there, I am an experienced, patient, passionate caregiver. I have been working in childcare and early education for over 6 years and I'm currently taking a break from teaching to pursue my education goals. I've worked at after school programs where I led activities and games as well as tutored school-age children. More recently I've been teaching preschool with mixed ages and primarily toddlers 1-2. I believe it's important for a caregiver to take time and get to know each child to earn their trust. I also stress the importance of the nanny as an aide to parents and families. My hope is that I can provide excellent care as additional support to your family. I would love to get to know your parenting style and preferences so that we can collaborate and problem solve together. With your input and guidance, I'll work to provide structure and enrichment to your little one's life as they grow, develop and learn everyday.
