About Moriah

Hi there! I live in McLean. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in photojournalism from Syracuse University, where I also minored in psychology. I recently received a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Child Life in Hospitals. Throughout my education, I have taken courses in child development, including therapeutic play, childhood and family trauma, trauma-informed care, child and adolescent psychology, and family systems. I have also taken a full-spectrum doula training course. I have cared for infants ranging from 4 months to 14 months. I also have experience working with medically fragile children. I am courteous, responsible, have always been a non-smoker, and observant. I have a driver's license and my own transportation. I am a quick learner and have experience working in fast-paced environments. I enjoy spending my leisure time taking my dog for hikes! My main line of work is in journalism so I am only able to commit to one time or part time gigs.
