Hello there! I am a mom and an Air Force Veteran. I retired in 2009 after serving for 20 years. I then raised my kids and am now looking for some part time work. My strong suits are compassion, empathy, good communication, organized and neat. Happy to cook and clean a little if needed, along with being a great companion to a senior in need of a friend, and driver to medical appointments, shopping or just a fun excursion! I'd describe my personality as happy, honest, and sincere. I like caring for seniors because I was lucky enough to have an amazing mother who I was fortunate to have in my life before and during her battle with dementia. Now, I have an angel who looks out for me from afar. In my spare time, I like to walk, hike, crafts, movies, baking and shopping. One thing you should know about me is I will always do my best job. I will be reliable, honest and care for your loved one, as if they were my own.

My sister and I hired Moreen to help us out with our mom who is in the early/mid stages of dementia. She had been getting confused on her walks and has stopped driving so we needed someone who could keep her company on her walks, take her on light errands and just spend some time with her. Moreen is EXACTLY what we were looking for! She is kind and patient and my mom loves her. She not only walks with my mom (who is very active for an 80 year old), but is also getting her to try more things to be a bit more engaged- not just with conversation, but other activities. I never would have guessed my mom would want to play cards, but Moreen has got her interested in it! She has only been helping us for about a month, but really seems to be in tune with what my mom likes and is open to trying things out. She has been a big help for my sister in reducing worry and stress. In addition to being so great with my mom, she is always punctual, a great communicator and lets us know how the day is going while she is with my mom. We are so lucky to have found her!
