About Moorea

My name is Moorea, and I am a fourth-year college student pursuing my B. A. in Liberal Studies who aspires to work as a K-8 teacher after graduation. I am beginning my student teaching through the Poway Unified School District in August. I currently work as a nanny to a toddler and have been with my current family for a year. I also have experience working as a middle school RSP Instructional Aide where I aided in teaching curriculum and working one-on-one with my students to help them better understand what they're learning. I have previous experience working as a teacher at an early learning school, where I cared for school-aged children before and after school. I helped students with homework, created developmentally appropriate activities for children, oversaw the safety and care of children, assisted in lesson plans and curriculum, and assisted in preparing activities and lesson materials.
