About Monisha

Hi! I am currently a 5th year PhD student in Sociology at GSU. I grew up in the UK (London) and moved to the US 5 years ago. I attended one of the top private girls schools in the country and achieved excellent grades before completing a Joint Honours Degree in Geography and Sociology (International) at the University of Leeds where I earned a First Class Honors Degree and graduated with top overall grade. I have over 10 years in both tutoring and childcare experience. I have primarily looked after and taught children and teens aged 7-16 years old but I am open to ages outside of this range. My background in tutoring includes both private and public tutoring. I can tutor in Math, English, and Social Sciences/Humanities. Formal tutoring experience includes 3 years working for The Tutor Trust (UK) where I was also awarded Tutor of the Month for excellence in tutoring within the first 3 months of working. In my free time, I enjoy reading, travelling and sharing joy!
