I have always shared my home with animals, and I have firsthand experience with many different kinds - from dogs and cats to the more exotic (but no less lovable) reptiles, fish, rodents, insects, and parrots - as a result. I can comfortably manage feeding, handling, bathing, medicating, enclosure cleaning, and any number of species-specific tasks, and I adore unconventional pets just as much as the usual sort! My own household is currently filled with cats and dogs of varying sizes, one clingy wolf hybrid, one very bossy green cheek conure, a 60 gallon planted freshwater aquarium (which contains many spoiled fish, shrimp, and snails, including an overfed but happy betta), and a motley assortment of chickens and pigeons.
