About Monica

I am a Trauma Informed, UF Alumna, with 10+ years working and volunteering with children. I have always loved children, being in their world, having fun and finding teachable moments along the way. I take my work seriously, yet approach it with creativity. I know from personal experience that being a parent is like having your heart walking around outside of your body, so I am honored that you are trusting me with the care of your most precious possession. I have cared for infants, toddlers, twins, preschoolers, and elementary aged children, including children on the autism spectrum. I love them all. Bonus: I have reliable transportation, am a published writer, certified in relaxation, trauma trained, love to sing and dance with kids, know some Spanish, a little ASL, and I can still turn cartwheels.
