We hired her based on a referral and did a trial. In the trial part, she was mopping and did not communicate the floor was wet to my mom whose knees are replaced and my mom fell. We still ignored her mistake and hired her after agreeing to her terms exactly as she wanted ( her rate and hours she wanted). She lied that she is ok with doing household stuff after I explicitly stated we needed help ( 1 hr conversation before hiring ). we needed mother's helper and baby help. She has an ego and bad attitude about anything unrelated to baby ( our dishes / laundry). Also, she never kept track of any baby related stuff ( tummy time / feedings/nails); even though we had her for 30 hrs. We had to do baby related tasks (making formula ) after she left for the day sometimes. she created confusion and we always had to figure out what task to give her. She just wanted to bill us the 30 hrs and viewed us as a paycheck.she had a huge problem with non baby related tasks. Also, not as careful as a infant nanny should be. Normally she would always be on time but last day she cancelled at the last minute due to snow knowing it was our 3rd day without any help given she wanted 2 days off.
