I had the chance to get to know Monica over the past three years through regular contact with her, as she was the nanny for one of my daughter’s best friends. I can say without hesitation that she’s one of the best caregivers I’ve encountered for a child. Monica isn’t just attentive and warm with kids, she’s intentional. She has a degree in child development and it shows: she actually builds out educational curriculum for the children in her care rather than just supervising playtime. She’s bilingual as well, which added a real language-learning benefit for the kids around her. Watching her with children over these years, what stood out most was how she balanced structure with genuine warmth. Kids gravitate toward her, and parents can tell their child is actually learning and thriving, not just being kept busy. Any family would be lucky to have her.
