About Monica

Hi! I'm Ioana, a Ph. D. holder returning to school and a Washington, DC resident with 8+ years of childcare experience. I've cared for children from toddlers through elementary school, including my current work with a 4-year-old and previous experience with children ages 3, 5, and older. I'm patient, dependable, organized, and attentive. My experience includes school pick-ups, meal and snack preparation, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, educational activities, bedtime routines, and creating fun, structured daily schedules. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged. I enjoy planning activities that build creativity, curiosity, confidence, language, and early learning skills. I also value clear communication with parents and keeping families updated. My goal is to provide warm, nurturing, and engaging care where children feel happy, comfortable, and supported.
