About Monica

Monica took care of my Mother for three years until her death at age 96. The care that Mum received was absolute perfection. Whenever you walked into the house there was laughter. My Mother had digestive issues her whole life until Monica took over her meals. Mum ate nutritious food beautifully prepared. She always had cut fresh fruit next to her chair to snack on, Monica will forever be part of our family. As my Mothers mental and physical health deteriorated Monica made sure she was comfortable both physically and mentally. From time to time we would be so sad because my Mother wouldn’t know who we were. Monica would tell us this is Marys journey and we will meet her where she is. It brought such peace to all of us to better understand the best way to interact with Mum. Through all of it my Mother felt safe, happy and well cared for. Monica gave my Mother the best end of life care possible. Mum died in her own home surrounded by family exactly the way she wanted to. There are no words that can adequately express the gratitude we as a family feel for Monica. My Mother loved her so much and would say she was her daughter. Monica is a treasure
