I have a deep passion for caring for the elderly. I volunteered at Columbus West nursing home for 3 years from 2012 to 2015. I did hospice and assisted the residents with eating, walking, and getting in and out of chairs. I also entertained them with card games and music as well as playing instruments for the residents. I deeply enjoyed the talks and the rewarding factor of putting a smile on there face and knowing I was able to make the end of there life happier and more peaceful. I currently work at Elmcroft assisted living and am looking for a more personal one on one care giving opportunity.
