About Molly

Hello! Thank you for taking the first step in considering me for your tutoring needs. I am a dedicated educator of 15 years of teaching with experience primarily in pre-kindergarten through 3rd, but I have experience and ability with grades 4 through 6, as well. I have a B. A. and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Davis, and am currently finishing my masters from the University of Nevada, Reno in Literacy Instruction and Curriculum. I am experienced with assessing student learning in all subjects, allowing me to identify their strengths and challenges. I create a safe environment for students to take risk in their learning development with practices that build trust, comfort, and student ownership of their learning. With appropriate assessments, student and parent interviews, and objective outlines, I create a learning plan that pulls from the child's strength and supports them advancing past their challenges.
