About Molly

Hi :) I have nannied and worked with children ages 0-8 at two progressive childcare centers, one of which was a Montessori. In addition to this, I'm currently a special ed preschool teacher. Essentially, what progressive childcare means for me is that all children should be treated with the same love and respect we would treat all of the most important people in our lives. I believe that children deserve to be listened to. I believe that children are the bosses of their bodies and can tell others not to touch them if they don't like it. I believe that children can make their own choices (within reason) as long as they aren't harming themselves, others or the environment around them. I enjoy working with kids because they bring infinite fulfillment and joy into my life! I love that it's a field of work that has a significant impact, so I know that what I'm doing is genuinely purposeful. I'm also certified in First Aid, CPR & BBP (food handlers too if you care about that sort of thing)!
