About Mollie

When my mother became very ill with Alzheimer's Disease I decided to quit my job and take care of her myself as the only able-bodied family member in town. Obviously caring for a family member is different than caring for someone with no relation however, it was still very challenging. Recently for the past year I have cared for an elderly gentleman who was so sweet and dear to me that I enjoyed his company as much as he claimed to have enjoyed mine. Unfortunately, his time on this earth has recently come to an end. I had a lot of fun with him. My duties included cooking his meals, going on (many) errands, medication reminders and getting his refills, helping to the bathroom and helping with bathing, light housekeeping and laundry, and most importantly companionship. He loved to go out to eat for lunch and driving through Seneca Park as we did so often.
