About Mollie

I am currently pursuing a PhD in brain and developmental sciences where I study visual working memory in infants. As a nanny I have worked with children ages newborn to 13 years old and my duties have included pick-ups and drop offs at school, trips to the pool, park and museum, bed time rituals, diaper changes, bringing them to activities, homework help, and preparing healthy meals and snacks. My experience as a nanny along with my training as a certified music teacher, language acquisition specialist, and developmental researcher has provided me with the knowledge to be able to provide fun activities and projects that help children develop cognitive skills like language and reading, spatial and math skills, as well as social skills like emotional regulation. I give positive reinforcement that fosters confidence and promotes and stimulates learning and growth. It is exciting, rewarding and fun for me to help them be able to discover their worlds.
