About Miya

I'd describe my personality as kind, mild-mannered, and empathetic. I like working with kids because I remember the babysitters I had as a child so well and I always looked up to them and thought they were so cool. It's a great opportunity to spread love and light into young hearts and minds. I'm looking for a job that is pretty flexible hour wise as I am a college student. I started working with kids when I was about 15. I've been a lifeguard at a pool where the patrons are primarily ages 5-14, so I have tons of experience with kids! I also have babysat my bosses children on several occasions. In my spare time, I like to play guitar and sing, or read a good book. I also run when time allows for it! One thing you should know about me is I am very chill. I'm okay with spontaneity and I'm always down for anything!
