About Mitchell

Hi! I'm Mitch, an elementary special education teacher with a genuine passion for working with children. I have extensive experience supporting kids with a wide range of personalities, learning styles, behavioral needs, and developmental abilities. I'm patient, flexible, attentive, and creative, and I love building genuine connections with kids by getting to know their unique interests and personalities. Whether we're playing games, getting outside, working on a creative project, reading, or just being silly, I enjoy making our time together fun and engaging. I'm also comfortable with homework, meals and snacks, routines, and bedtime. My teaching experience has made me skilled at staying calm, problem-solving, and helping children navigate big emotions. Most importantly, I'm dependable, responsible, communicative, and committed to making sure every child in my care feels safe, comfortable, and supported.
