I wanted to be a vet for so long! As an adult, I ended up in nursing school. I think I eventually realized my heart can handle human care better than animals, since they are perfect babies and don't understand getting hurt. I volunteered at a vet clinic as a kid. I had a menagerie of pets. I rode horses and mucked out stalls. I trained dogs and cats just for fun. I've been nannying professionally for 5 years, but I had to quit when I started this nursing program :( I consider myself a mama hen to all creatures :)
