About Miranda

Hello, I'm Miranda and thank you for considering me as a potential caregiver. First thing, I have well over a decade of professional experience caring for children 6 weeks to instructing graduate students at a top Ivy League university where I also tutored writing. I'm passionate about care work as true important work. I have been trained as a DONA doula, in infant, child and adult CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross. I am also qualified in pet first aid and CPR! I am familiar with multiple approaches to child development and teaching including Montessori, Reggio and Waldorf. I speak both English and French and basic ASL (I love using baby sign language). My philosophy is that you know your child and family best and I aim to support you in your choices for your little ones. To do this best I prioritize open communication and trust above all else.
