About Miranda

Experience: 3 yrs

Hi! I'm an experienced babysitter, tutor, and higher education professional with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I hold a bachelor's degree from Hunter College and am currently pursuing my master's degree at John Jay College. I have experience caring for children with autism, ADHD, and other learning and developmental differences. I'm comfortable with meal preparation, bedtime routines, homework help, and engaging activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and sports. I've also coached youth baseball and soccer! As a tutor, I specialize in English, math, essay writing, SAT/ACT and Regents preparation, homework assistance, and high school and college applications. I tailor my approach to each child's learning style while building confidence and independence. I'm patient, reliable, energetic, and passionate about helping children succeed. Available weekdays after 5:30 PM!
