Hi my name is Mindy I have a college degree in Early Childhood Development. Over the four years I cared for a nonverbal autistic boy. I witnessed significant growth . At first communication was almost entirely nonverbal , but with constant care, routine and tailored support he began using gestures , eye contact, and grabbing my hand to get what he wants. I saw his social engagement grow, his frustration lesson, and his curiosity blossomed. Then his mom wanting to be a stay home mom. After that I found a doctor's family who only had one child. But then she had two more children. In that time I introduced them to imaginary play, crafts, and sparking their creativity and helping them build social and cognitive skills. The children I was watching are now on their journey to school, and I am on my new journey with a new family. Excited for the next journey!

We employed Mindy as our family Nanny for almost 4 years, starting from when my daughter was 1 year old and through two more brothers being born in the next two years - she handled it like a champ! She is so great with the kids and her strong point is imaginary play. She is always on time and very reliable. She never called off and was more than willing to help out after-hours if needed. She has two grandchildren of her own that are young toddlers so she understands the sometimes emotional days, picky, eating, and occasional sleep regressions. We could always count on her and still have her watch our kids, even though they are starting school. We love Miss Mindy and our three kids always ask when we will see her again to play! She is like family to us.
