About Mindy

I'd describe my personality as friendly, warm, empathetic I like caring for seniors because I have always enjoyed spending time with them. I was very close to my grandparents and was able to take care of my grandmother once she was unable to live alone and care for herself. I love talking to seniors and learning from them. I'm looking for a job that provides me an opportunity to help seniors and their families. A flexible schedule will be needed as I have 3 children of my own. I started caring for seniors during high school and college. My grandmother had a severe stroke and required full time assistance. I was able to spend evenings, overnights, and weekends with her to assist with daily activities, meal preparation, feeding, medication management, and transportation to appointments and other activities My skills include assistance with daily activities (meal prep, feeding, bathing/dressing, medication management).
