I took care of an elderly couple for 7 months. They were "snowbirds" that visited Florida for the winter. The gentleman was 82 with lots of health problems and the lady was 81 with dementia. Later she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I cared for both of them during that time. At times they were both in the hospital or nursing home, but had no family around. Family just came for visits. They become family to me also, as we got to know each other so well. I am just very passionate for older people I truly enjoy helping them, being around them and listening to them. We recently moved to North Dakota and I am hoping to find someone to help out.
