I don't like writing negative reviews, as many times it is a matter of perspective. But I feel that I should share my experience here. I had contacted Mindy, and we messaged back and forth a bit, and she was planning to come to my home on a Monday to help with some personal care. The last thing I messaged her was on Saturday evening, with address and garage code so she could get in the home. Her last message was "Ok sounds good. See you Monday". Monday morning came, and she didn't show up. I waited about half an hour to see if she was just a little late. After 30 minutes I tried to message her, and she had blocked me! So I have no idea why she didn't show up, and I couldn't even ask her. Complete ghost. And clearly not just an accident or forgetful, as she went to the effort to block me so I couldn't ask. I cannot think of a reason why she would do this. All she had to do was message me and say that should would not be able to help out. I'm a senior recovering from surgery, and needed assistance and I was just left all alone for that day. If she had just even canceled last minute I would not have left this review. But her actions were very rude and disrespectful. I cannot recommend her. This is the second caregiver who has done this same thing. There are some wonderful caregivers here on care.com, and I suggest looking for some of them.
