About Mindy

I have cared for many types of animals over the years. Growing up as a child our family always had lots of pets and having my own kids meant fun pets over the years too and have experience with hermit crabs, hamsters, fish, parakeets, quail, rabbits, a snake and of course the usual cats and dogs. I have some experience with farm animals too, not extensive but can usually meet basic needs for care. I am looking for work in my local area for pet care in your home and can do overnight care for some smaller or docile animals in my home ($35-$45 a night). Depending on compatibility with our current pets: 3 cats and 1 dogs, a very friendly 3 yr old Australian cattle dog mix. We have a fenced in yard as well. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets and provide care for them while you are away, just as you would if you were there. NOTE-I will not care for any dogs that are aggressive in anyway or have a bite history due to being attacked at a previous job.

I have known Mindy for over five years now. I know her through our home schooling group and also with American Heritage Girls. She has been very helpful with organizing events for our home school group and have come with many creative activities. She is also a leader for the AHG girls and leads the girls to earn badges. She is very friendly and kind with children and adults. I have personally seen her working with children and she always uses a very quiet, nice voice and very kind as well. She is quite reliable and if she says she will be there, she will be there!! Over these years of knowing her, she has become a very dear friend to me and has been very caring and kind to me. She would be someone I would call to watch my children. I would highly recommend her for any job.
