About Milka

I am a dedicated childcare provider with a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion from Daemen University. I am passionate about helping others lead healthier lives, which extends to my approach in childcare. I began my childcare journey by babysitting my brother, who has autism, until he turned 10 years old. This experience taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and effective communication. During college, I babysat two boys and two girls for a year, deepening my understanding of children's needs and routines. I have also cared for my nieces and nephew, supporting their educational and emotional growth. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, practicing yoga, reading health and wellness books, volunteering, and cooking healthy meals. My top skills include patience and empathy, effective communication, and strong organizational abilities.
