I have nannied for four families, and have been sought after by four high end nanny agencies. I am trustline and CPR certified and have current Tdap and MMR vaccines. Prior to being a nanny, I wrote all curriculum and taught a "parent and me" class for the City of Union City. I'm an advocate for active learning, using resources like books, arts and crafts, music, games and outdoor play time. These resources have been proven to be essential in child development, confidence, and independence. As an advocate for healthy living and nutrition, I am available to prepare meals for children. I will provide a safe, positive and healthy environment for which to care for your child. Milia joined our family in March of 2020 when our son was three months old. I was very nervous to leave our son with anyone, being a first-time mom, but Milia quickly put me at ease with her warm and nurturing personality. Milia has been a source of knowledge for us and taken the lead to make sure our son is hitting all of his developmental milestones. She reads to him constantly and is always finding creative ways to teach him new things. He is highly verbal, outgoing and thoughtful, and we credit a lot of that to Milia's guidance and care. She has also been extremely COVID conscious. With the guidelines changing constantly, she has been creative and adaptable in planning activities. It is clear to me that Milia does this out of love and not merely as a job. You would be hard pressed to find someone better to care for your child! She has become an integral member of our family. We are moving back to the east coast and would take her with us if she would come!
