About Milan

Hello there! I am Milan (Me-Lawn). I'm a recent first generation college graduate from Sacramento State. I received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences & Disorders and I also have my A. A in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I'm currently working as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). I have experience in both academic, in home, and clinical settings. I have work experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I have experience ranging from all ages including birth to 18 years. I have experience and training in teaching social skills, potty training, deescalation techniques and individualized approaches to care. I am a dedicated to providing a neurodivergent affirming approach. I also have experience working in a dual immersion school setting. I provided literacy tutoring for Kindergarten through 4th grade. I created and executed lesson plans, encouraged a love of reading, and learned how to interact lesson plans in a group setting.
