Hello! My name is Milagros . I was born in Puerto Rico and has been living in Austin, Texas since 2002. My experience as a nanny and baby sitter started with my family when I provided care for my nieces and a nephew when they were babies/toddler for a period of 4 years starting in 1993. At that time, I prepared meals, care and help with their homework during evenings. From 1998-2001, I worked as a bible school teacher with children and teens. I prepared lessons and fun activities. On 2002, I moved to Austin, Texas and in 2005, I became a bilingual educator. Since then, I have been working with Pre-K, 1st grade and 3rd grade students. I love working with children, they are fun and so curious! On my extra time, I work as a baby sitter for a company that provides conferences for military families. As their baby sitter, I provide care, meals, we do fun and engaging activities. I can't wait to work with you and meet your child. I'm very caring and dedicated! Thank you!

Milagros is incredible - we love her like a member of the family. She served as our after-school nanny for 3 years, including helping us full-time in early 2020 as we navigated the pandemic and remote schooling. As a teacher, she applies a level of care and learning to all her interactions with our children, including engaging them with crafts and games. She is also a wonderful house manager (supports us with laundry and light cleaning) and was an incredible support to me during a challenging time for my health and helped keep our family running while I navigated chemotherapy and other parts of my cancer treatment. We would highly recommend her to any interested family and would be happy to serve as a reference. We continue to use her regularly for weekend babysitting (and selfishly would love to keep her to ourselves) but know that other families will be so touched to have her in their homes as well.
