About Mikayla

Hi my name is Mikayla, I grew up in daycare when I aged out I worked for my daycare for two years, from there I worked in my mom's daycare. Ive also taken child care and developmental classes along with a handful of child and regular psychology classes. I've been in the Direct support field since 2015 working with clients of different ages needs and developmental disabilities My mother is a special needs teachers par-pro professional so my whole life I've been driven to support and assist the developmental and social education needed to thrive! My last company childcare job in Carbondale was at Robins Nest Daycare. I've been CPR and first aid certified for over six years. Im looking for work right now while working becoming a certified Full spectrum Doula, as well as finishing my Bachelor's in Psychology through SIU
