About Mikayla

Hello and welcome to my page! I am Mikayla and I have many years of experience caring for children ages 6 weeks-13 years! I have my bachelors degree in psychology with an emphasis in development and minor on education, I have all the course work to be a teacher but never student taught. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in social work at UW-Milwaukee. I hope to become an elementary school social worker! I'm my course work, I have learned a variety of strategies to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs that any child may have. I have previously worked in a licensed day care, as a nanny, a babysitter, and in summer programming at the YMCA. I am currently a nanny for an amazing family & am looking for casual or date night hours!! Some things I love to do with kiddos are crafts, playing outside, going to the zoo, dance parties, and building train tracks!
