About Mikayla

Helping children (and their families) is the most rewarding job I can think of! Knowing that my job is to help kids achieve their full potential and to help them feel happier and better about themselves, brings a huge smile to my face. Also, children make me a well-informed person: As kids often expect for me to know exactly what they are talking about, I also have to keep up-to-date on current affairs, as well as on the latest video games, cartoons, and coolest apps for iPads and phones. Games I like to play with children are the traditional Simon S which are best played outside. As for inside favorites, besides board games there s the Do Not Laugh game. All sit in a semi-circle and make silly faces; the one who laughs last is the winner and should be awarded a small prize. Though Hide and Seek is usually very popular, too. Also, coloring and crafts anything within the child's interest.
