About Mikayla

Hi there! I'm currently working with children and parents in foster care as a visitation aide but I'm looking to transition to a career that better fits my lifestyle. I've been caring for children & babysitting for 10 years. I have background working in special needs and as a Behavioral Coach for an 8 y/o boy in the Roosevelt school district for a year. I'm calm natured, gentle, patient, responsive, child-led, and enjoy coming up with various activities. I'm experienced with attuning to infant cues, providing developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and learning for all ages. I love working with children because of the bond that is built between me and the family, as well as getting the opportunity to have a positive impact on their lives. I am passionate about furthering my time in the nannying field so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences.
