About Mikayla

I have over nine years of paid childcare experience. After earning my Bachelor's degree in Communications last year, I decided to transition to full-time nannying. While I have experience in retail, web support, and reception work for a counseling practice, childcare has been the most rewarding role I've had. I truly enjoy getting to know each family and seeing the world through a child's eyes. It's meaningful work and its a lot of fun! As a caregiver, I take a gentle, calm approach and enjoy ecouraging creativity alongside outdoor play. I love going on walks, visiting parks/ playgrounds, museums, and libraries. I also enjoy reading together, coloring, and engaging in imaginative play. Although I don't have a degree in early childcare education, childcare has been my most extensive professional experience. I have excellent references, own transportation & am CPR/First Aid certified. It would be an honor to support your family and become another trusted adult in your child's life.
